  • The gif was too big for lemmy and piefed, and catbox.moe is disallowing uploads publicly right now. I was nervous hosting a large file like this on my home websever, but it does seem to be working really well. It is on a home internet connection (symmetrical 1gb fiber). The server itself is a OrangePI (so very light/small). I assume it's just lack of contention.

    Edit: cloudflare is also acting as a CDN
