I just learnt this in the last few months. We got a Rav4 Prime and I had only put gas in it for the first time for our normal drive two weeks ago. What a pain in the ass and it was only a few minutes for the detour.
Firefighting budget is provincial not federal. Ontario government cut firefighting budget quite significantly recently.
That last point all the way.No Car Play or Andriod Auto? Want to use a native app (like Apple Music) on the infotainment? That's a monthly subscription. No thanks.
So the bogus connection fee is 'gone' and now they are testing the waters with stuff like this? How long before you can't phone people with the $8 Monthly Security unless you also pay for the $8 Monthly Security?
Most EVs and Hybrids don't have a direct hydraulic connection between the brake pedal and the wheel cylinders when everything is healthy. There is an accumulator that gets pressurized when you press the brake pedal and then it blends between dynamic and hydraulic brakes as needed.
First time I'm hearing about this. Looks very neat. I really only have Google Maps for the timeline so I will have to selfhost this and try this out soon.
Just like the alternative app stores on iPhones globally, and the Nintendo Switch 2 with a user swappable battery, right?
"your honour we tried to release our games on competing platforms but no one was interested"-Microsoft defending why they shouldn't be broken up in a couple years, I'm sure.
So we're back to CDMA ESN times? It was only a matter of time before eSIM turned back into bogus fees for the providers. The only benefit I see to eSIM is a thief can't take it out easily. Everything else seems like dealing with ESNs again.
Just hope the employees at other Walmarts can push this through.Otherwise they will likely close this store in a hurry.
Apple did this exact thing on iPhone and 3rd party stores so I would be surprised if this wasn't already baked into the firmware on the Switch.
Can confirm I am seeing the same thingLeft a 1 star review. I will be emailing my MPP about this. Publicly funded apps should not be allowed to do these things.
Likely this is a bigger role than anything. I pretty much only drove VWs whole life. I can get a used Chevy Bolt or used ID4 for roughly the same price. Should be picking up the Bolt next weekGot a used RAV4 Prime. Gets me to work in back in EV mode. VW really fucked up with their EV strategy.
Is there any instructions for this now? When I tried like 2 years ago the instruction were so terrible I just gave up. It didn't really explain how all the parts interacted and just assumed you knew everything about Matrix.
