  • Interesting. Would you have a source handy that I could check out? Thanks.

  • Sure, I should've stuck to a strict definition of the poorly defined thing that you "suppose" means something that wasn't at all indicated in the comment. Makes sense.

    The comment made two claims:

    1. We are outraged about this
    2. We are not outraged about the targeting of the left

    I said:

    1. We can be outraged about more than one thing.
    2. What evidence do you have to support your second claim?

Using "we" or "no one" is immaterial in that sentence in this context. It's not more than just not repeating the same words again and again for readability. No sensible person took that to be an ask for evidence that literally not one single person was outraged. The crux of the question, as written above, is "What evidence supports your claim?" Using your assumed definition, I'd have the same question about both claims instead of just one. My main point that we can be outraged about more than one thing would be unchanged.

Why are you acting like an apologist for normalizing the increasing psychopathy of the American society?

I'm not. You're just failing to think clearly.

  • I've seen a few of these warnings posted. I'm literally outside all day every day and I've yet to notice poor air quality. Except for one day where we had visible haze first thing in the morning but that was reported by other weather services.

  • Y'know, one could argue that was more effort than my relatively silly comment deserved. You really put in the work and for that I salute you. Truly a top-shelf comment.

I do think most of the nicknames there are pretty lame, to be honest. Satan Hussein doesn't even really make sense. Bibi the Butcher is almost more of a pejorative title than a nickname, and I prefer that in general. This is a very specific reference but, in the Expanse novels and tv series, calling Fred Johnson 'The Butcher of Anderson Station' feels more impactful to me than calling him Bled Toxin would. I think when someone refers to Trump as the 'Orange [bad thing]', for example, the intention is to make the criticism hit harder but it usually has the opposite effect on me. That is purely personal preference though. Feel free to nickname to your heart's content if that's your preference!

Beelzebibi is my favourite, personally. It's both pejorative and funny. It's also really fun to say out loud. Great stuff.

  • Echoing: talk to a doctor. Keep talking to doctors until you figure out the problem.

Someone suggested it could be low b12, but I've been having the sublingual spray for months and there's no improvement.

If you suspect a B12 deficiency, get tested for it. With serious deficiency you'd likely also see low hemoglobin, low hematocrit, and low neutrophil count in your blood work. Just to be clear though: I'm not a doctor.

The vast majority of "sublingual" B12 is absorbed in the gut. Very little is absorbed through the mucosa. If you have a b12 absorption problem, you may need a B12 injection. You can either get one from a doctor or do it yourself with an insulin needle, if you're comfortable. I've had a B12 deficiency that couldn't be resolved with any form of oral B12 supplementation.

  • You really gotta workshop that nickname

  • Greendale Acres’ iconic maze is celebrating its 28th year in 2026, and the new design of the massive cornfield has longtime fans buzzing with excitement.

  • It seemed to work for Arasaka so 🤷‍♂️

  • I have no idea what they're individually doing or not doing.

But in the interest of national unity, I'll join you in the most Canadian of pastimes: talking shit about Americans.

Fuck you, you American bastards! Fix your dumb country, you fucking hosers.

  • You sound tough, Captain Discomfort. What you bench bro?

Also, I'm Canadian. Not particularly interested in being a good American. Or any kind, really.

  • Who me?

  • Calling it right now. I'm going to this maze.

  • When did this turn into the most gorgeous girl in Brazil?

  • Whoa. When did this turn into beautiful world? When did this turn into I love you?

  • We can be outraged about more than one thing.

What is your basis for saying no one is outraged about this administration targeting leftists? I've seen nothing but outrage.

  • You kind of have to cut them back. They're obstructing the garage and the walking path to the door.

I would cut them back beyond the bed edge so they're not obstructions. You may need to use loppers. Remove equivalent amounts from around it to keep it from being lopsided. Round it again with shears.

I would also bring them down to below the windows before rounding. Do those first then match the height on the garage blocking one if you want them to look the same.

  • Thanks. I just didn't want your post to get deleted over something that's a quick fix. If you've done it before without a post being removed, it's likely that no one noticed and reported it.
