It is quite interesting that these features (re-)appeared, as a Guest checkout and checkout via Email address, since back in ~2017 this feature was removed in Steam for security reasons to also prevent fraud and manipulation, such as buying/selling between regions with lower prices to higher ones.

Today we’re announcing changes to gifts on Steam. The gifting process has had a bunch of friction in it for a while, and we want to make it easier for you to share the games you love with friends. Steam Gifting will now be a system of direct exchange from gift buyer to gift receiver, and we will be retiring the Gift to E-mail and Gift to Inventory options.

A person residing in marvelous Vietnam could utilize the lower price and sell as an intermediary safely or not. That would definitely damage the monetary support of the actual hard-working artists... permanently malform statistics... and put someone at risk on financial or privacy contexts, too...

Presumably, Steam improved the automated system to detect such manipulations and now, with the system improved, have re-enabled the previously blocked functionality.

The announcement blog post, however, reads very poorly, and the section titled “The development team of none” is the worst of it. It states:

This naive "rapid pace"...

Those who do in that careless "pace" will invest more time maintaining it, fixing it, supporting it, or well... realizing it, I believe.

Not to mention that they make themselves more and more dependent on some LLM vendor prospering these vendors with each iteration and tokens burned, and training their models on your own ideas, creativity, and your time of life. Yet, not a single person will guarantee a stable outcome, and no one to blame after. Is that "development"? That is dark horrific sorrow.

This "vibe coding" may be quick at starters, if lucky and all Gods and the Fortune got you, yet supporting that and investing your life time after?

No, never. I have my own mind to train. The people I work with have their own minds. The Communities out there have their own minds. We all have our mind to develop, and learn from each other. Otherwise, it’s empty, pointless, and not art you will be proud of as a developer who inscribes moments in the history, and stand your name in it.

Thank you for the response! Am sorry, but proof for what?The profile selector is empty because I used a temporary Kubuntu environment at https://distrosea.com/ for the screenshot, since I am currently on-the-go.

Holy smokes! 25 profiles! That's a profile for almost all possible 25 identities for the whole month of a spy job!

Just to clarify, what do you mean by "hidden"? It’s been having the options -P, -ProfileManager , -profile for decades now.

If you cannot disable extensions, you must create a new profile before upgrading to Firefox 0.8.Source [2013-12-06]

Thank you very much! This is great read! Though, no actual steps mentioned, including the:From this, he ascertained that the exception was triggered by a call to the C function memmove. While the source and destination addresses for this call looked sane, the size field was set to...
I do get the most of these stated, but it would be awesome to know more about how he did actually find it, and with what toolset. Was is gdb, Valgrind, JetBrains, IDA Pro, or some another general/complex dump viewer/toolset?
And, the interactive miracle, at the top of the website is freaking marvelous... It reminded me of the articles of the fluid simulation algorithms of Yusuke Endoh! Heartfelt gratitude to the developer, the artist who implemented it!
Apparently, behind the scene, the fluid colors are contained in an array where every single color has a defined meaning!

As we know, it depends on the actual environment, where simpler or more complex options are available out-of-the-box.Meanwhile, have you tried?:- https://github.com/hluk/copyq- https://copyq.readthedocs.io/en/latest/scripting.html

In CopyQ, since its compiled with the clipboard event handling, it's sure possible to handle these events, including changing the content or launching custom scripts, and though I don't like Python, I do like JavaScript, and CopyQ has built-in support for quite limited but JavaScript with its own API function built-in to handle it, mentioned in the documentation above.

Preview of the settings I've just checked out in a Kubuntu machine I had on hands:

And it worked! The quick scripts I tried are the following:

The one for CopyQ (I had v6.0.1)

Apparently, it does not support

That program or script, to clean it, may be anything you prefer of course, including Bash, Perl, PHP, JavaScript, or what AutoHotKey does/executes in your case possibly.

There's the following to automate the read/write I know but haven't used, too:- https://github.com/Slackadays/Clipboard

In Wayland, you may use wl-paste to read, and wl-copy to write into the clipboard.In X11, xclip to both read and write.

The thing is that there should be some kind of event to handle on the clipboard change, and there options as DBus or Qt, yet I am not currently aware of a verified option to do so without an actually compiler program to subscribe to such an event.

For instance, Klipper, the Qt program, uses the even handling over DBus exposed via its libraries for convenience.

I've relatively recently got into a similar unexpected case, in the same exact community:- https://lemmy.world/post/48374375 (Welp... that was quick (around 4 minutes to get banned at "/c/linuxsucks)...)

Unfortunately, the whole community is likely a Microsoft/Apply/etc. propaganda, or just a very sad, or even psychologically unstable person/people behind it who do what they believe in, and won't or even afraid of considering other viewpoints encountered.

There's hope... that some day... they will consider their actions, contribution, and what do they inscribe in the fabric of the infinitely magnificent history...

Meanwhile, I see that you are trying to stay accountable and that is what is important!Please don't worry much... and I wish you safe, stability, and peace...
