  • People who knew you before have a tendency to not notice. Think about how other kids didn't seem to change much when you were growing up, but if you looked back at old pictures, you'd notice the difference a few years made. People who are with you every day don't notice the gradual shift and don't update their perception of you unless you seriously compromise that image. They just see the same person they've always known, while new people meeting you have a fresh perspective.

  • but why are the slavs evil? what does that have to do with anything?

  • it's fine; neither am i >~<

  • who?

  • I'm at the point where even that seems doubtful. The job market is terrible and the economy will only getting worse, at least until people actually challenge the powers that be. Who really knows how bad things will get or if any life you build will be stripped away at a moment's notice

    1. the girl is nobody in particular
    2. The joke is that HRT will crush any ability transfems have to pass as a man, all while giving a cute smile (as not looking like a man is exactly what the transfems were seeking through HRT)
  • Yeah. Dysphoria can manifest as a general unease/depression without a clear source. It's like a weight that you might not realize is there until you experience euphoria and it's suddenly lifted

  • I'm also not really; I'm an ephemeral being without physical form at all

  • They want to be honest and mark their gender as nonbinary, but it's easier to go with "female" because binary genders are more likely to be invalidated. Even if they try to present androgenous, people often still put them into one category or another. If they're on estrogen and generally look more feminine, it's easier to just go with "woman" rather than fight to be recognized as nonbinary.

That was my experience at least when I experimented with nb pronouns in the past. I eventually discovered that I only want to be seen as a woman, but I still found it annoying how rarely people respected my gender back then. It's a privilege to fit on either side of the binary, so I don't take it for granted.
