  • I usually prep it a day before hand to really let it soak. I'd do a few days but i was told to avoid it for Barbecue sauce because of the high sugar contents and the acidity breaking down the skin.

  • Yeah, it definitely makes it a lot more bearable. it comes stocked with a few presets too, such as it's own "Builder" mode which is a more relaxing, chill difficulty

  • That's actually super interesting. WWII and WWI are probably some of the most interesting eras to me, so i love learning any facts i can about the era

  • I love turning the zombies down to a manageable number and playing it to build an outpost. Perfect cozy game imo. We keep helicopter events on though to keep things from getting stale. It's really easy to dull the experience and make you feel too powerful, so it keeps us down a peg so we still have some trouble.

  • It's definitely a different experience with friends. It really sucks because you get good experiences like these but if you don't have people to play with (or in people like me's case: hate playing with strangers) it's just an awkward experience.

  • I know Shadows gets a lot of shit but i really enjoyed it. My only gripe was that the story was too long

  • I say go for it. I honestly have had it since 2024 maybe and just recently reached 130 hours. You can adjust the settings to be super forgiving and can stop and pause at your pace (if singleplayer)

  • I think i said it in the post but the only one i've ever played is Revelations. Going back and playing 2 and Brotherhood felt good. Especially with brotherhood, i see why they're so loved

  • I’ve been considering getting all the achievements. But impossible is really what’s putting a lid on any desire. I feel like it’d be a lot of time and I do not have that kind of time unfortunately (even if I do have a lot of time right now)

    But yeah. That is something I remember when I was young and played Revelations. I kind of like it as it forced me to be a little more aware rather than just countering with the hidden blade
