  • How much are you willing to spend? I have the Timemore C3 and it is a good grinder and feels very good and well made. I got it for around 75€ new.

  • Good to know, I haven't seen either around very often. But that might be my region.

  • It was also quite helpful for me too. I didn't think a spout of similar shape could get a much better pour.

    Thank you for stopping by!

  • I'm pretty sure we only have one kind of pyrex in Germany but I just used a similar measuring cup made by a different company.

Thank you very much, the coffee tastes noticeably better now.

  • From what I tried now it was a combination of pouring technique and the absence of stirring that lead to this taste. I have now tried a pyrex for pouring like another person suggested, which worked very well.

  • By porcelain I meant the melitta type thing. It is the holder for paper filters. My grinder is the Timemore C3 ESP pro.

  • Do you just put the Pyrex in the microwave for heating?

Edit: I have tried the pyrex and it allows a much nicer and more controlled pour. Thank you very much

  • That sounds very delicious

How can I improve my Pour-over?

  • I have also been thinking about making some kind of wiki/collection of people's ideas. Similar to a Megathread about most things coffee related. I am not sure how I would actually make this in a user friendly way though.

We could do a question of the week or a Form where people can share their ideas on a topic which gets published as a thread after a while.

I would start with the basics like equipment, roasts/roasters and then move on to recipes like the ones you suggested.

If you have an idea how we could manage this in a good way, let me know.

  • Hello from the second community Moderator.

I have only recently gotten into making proper coffee.

This week I have bought the Timemore C3 ESP pro and made some local medium/light roast filter coffee with it. I have mostly had Bean-To-Cup machine coffee before and this is quite the different experience but I think I like it.

I hope the community can thrive now with more active moderators.

  • Thank you <3

  • Thanks for taking over, I only recently discovered this community and was impressed by how active it is. Do you need another Mod? I have some interesting ideas for more interaction.

  • I really liked the balance between the side features and the main game. It was nice being able to go on voyages while there wasn't a lot of stuff happening but it didn't distract from the rest of the game.

I think corruption lost time with button presses and could've been fixed by fishing a lot. When I woke up I saw that two red players were ending the game so I joined them in hopes of getting the last press.

    Thanks for Everything!

  • If the app has tickets it often includes information about these tickets. Not all do but most of them

  • I like having the option of an app because it gives clear information about the tickets available and the tarif zones.

I also find it convenient to have the ticket on my phone, as I can't lose it there.

I don't think this should replace paper tickets though. It should be available on top of paper tickets.
