  • Yeah, this is the same as how they insisted Gina Carano (i think that's her name) got "fired" from The Mandalorian. No, she just wasn't brought back. Hell I don't even think they recast her character. Just didn't bring the character back at all. Each season of a tv show, each singular movie, each production is an entirely different contract. They just have no understanding of how these things work and its very frustrating to me as someone in the industry.

  • Gonna go see it in 70mm here soon, knowing full well that I dislike virtually every Nolan movie, AND that shooting entirely in IMAX makes for some interesting challenges that Nolan absolutely does not have the ability to overcome. Things like only having 3 minutes of film per mag to shoot on. Dude already has a MAJOR editing problem for all of his movies, so cutting down every shot to a 3 minute mag is a bad fuckin idea. (Of course he's always shot film which isn't. too much different, but I digress)

    My girlfriend has never seen the wonder of a six story tall real deal imax screen (we missed Sinners in 70mm, biggest movie regret of my life) so I'm taking her.

  • GN released a home build that was yeah, like 120 bucks cheaper but uses a $30 timebomb/power supply. Computer prices are just insanely jacked up right now and considering the PS5 Pro is 900$, I'm gonna say this is one of the better deals on the market if you're trying to swap from console to PC. It has drawbacks, obviously, but everything is so fucked up that this is on the lower tier of fucked up.
