  • Historically, it is what it means

No, it isnt. Its the question of whether a Socialist country can and should try to survive as a singular expression of socialism, and trade and engage in diplomacy with capitalists powers and let them do their capitalism while you do socialism.

Neither side of the question advocated for war with the west.Trotsky was willing to throw away half the union to avoid war, stalin engaged honestly with every treacherous liar in the west.

And they managed to do so, so what's the point?

That socialism in one country still necessitated preparing to fight the entire world with all its advantages.

  • Oof, yeah that sounds like a good way to get an injury. Did you have a doctor look at it? It wouldnt be responsible of me to do anything that even looks like diagnostics, but patellar tendonitis is pretty normal for people who do sports.

  • Oh no its 100% pro us propaganda. But so are most us movies.

  • I kind of liked the first iron man. It wasn't great or anything, but it was a fun little romp.

If it's on tbe TV im not gonna change the channel unless there's an ad break

  • 1: That's not what it means

2: The closest it ever gets to meaning that is equally applicable to the other position.

The question is "Can we trust capitalists to uphold their end of the deal" and Trotsky said no and Stalin said yes.

And hey, turns out, you can get in a position where they will let you sell them stuff, so kudos to Stalin. But also the soviet union still had to become the world's largest/second largest military to stop nato from destroying them, and they still did it

  • I also believe permanent revolution is better than socialism in one country

But socialism in one country is the conservative position there.

  • Cute @hexbear.net

The collective noun is a conspiracy of bunnies

  • I don't know, I never watched any of their shows except wonderman.

  • I didn't even wanna watch it, but they could have just recast majors. They already did it before, why the weird insistence on not recasting people?

  • No yeah at least one season of wonderman is out, I watched it, it was fine. But they cancellled season 2

  • In the animated series the pattern was usually a villain and a corporate crook/corrupt guy whose fault it all was

  • It's inflation I tell you. (It's also the introduction of Hugo Strange and The Joker, kinda)

  • I started watching it, had the thought "This is giving me Big Bang Theory vibes, but I don't know why" and then I looked it up and it's a Big Bang Theory spinoff, and then I turned it off. Good to hear you're enjoying it though.

  • Even with a torn patellar tendon outlook is usually pretty good, it's one of the more fixable things in orthopedics.

But it's good to hear you're doing well.

  • The first episode of the second season of Batman: Caped Crusader is the origin story of The Riddler, Calendar Man, Mad Hatter and Solomon Grundy. I think that may be overkill.

  • Removing stuff is significantly less fun.

  • Proving my point. The less "realistic" the more likely you are to see medieval headwear

  • Roiland was that, but he was also tight with the adventuee time alumni, so he was in Adventure time, Gravity falls, and Star Vs the Forces of Evil.

  • You're thinking of an escoffion, and an escoffion counts.

Edit: Or you're thinking of a bisected/divided hennin which also obviously counts.

  • Even as a gay man I can appreciate that people like boobas on wenches. I don't even mind. I don't even think most women mind. But you gotta put in some ridiculous cod pieces too.

But more importantly i want hennins.

  • History @hexbear.net

The fact that the more "Realistic" a work about medieval Europe pretends to be the less likely you are to see actual medieval women's headwear is a kind of fun dynamic
