  • Wicked.

  • I only have one user blocked on Lemmy, and I think it's who you're referring to.

  • Well, that and when the forests don't grow back fast enough to provide new fuel. I.e. when what was forest becomes desert.

Past mistakes with forest management are only part of the problem.

  • You spent so long wondering if you could...

  • Pfft, he could have used three seashells.

  • Right, that which is dead can never die.

    (I kid, I kid)

  • Swallows eat bugs too. We could call it "swallowing."

You could even have African swallowing, European swallowing, etc.

Now, don't get me started on coconuts.

  • It would probably be easier to Photoshop this than to AI generate it and get all the posters looking right.

  • This one did not let me down!

  • Don't forget the baldies you hairist.

  • Wat?

    Jump
  • Magnets? Aliens?

  • Some of those that burn crosses are the same that hold office.

  • Apparently when you get Ray Ban frames for prescription glasses, you can pay extra to have the Ray Ban logo engraved on them. So if you see someone with prescription glasses with the Ray Ban logo, you can lose a little more respect for them.

  • Enshitification of shit. They truly are meta.

  • I am all for leaving Granville as pedestrian-only (permanently) and running transit down Seymour and Howe. I've been saying Vancouver downtown needs that for years.

But spending $300k a week "for sanitation and traffic work" is fucking ludicrous. What the fuck are they smoking? Are they hiring staff to pick up garbage 24/7 on every fucking corner? Are they fucking polishing the asphalt like it's a marble countertop?

And $200k a week for security? You don't need to put 60 extra cops on the street just because it's pedestrian only.

Again, this is extra budget. On top of what would already be spent just by having Granville St be Granville St - which already gets regular sanitation and police patrols. There's no fucking way this is just to maintain it as pedestrian only.

This is absolute madness and is just a setup for it to fail because "it costs too much."

  • The phone goes beyond being just a BlackBerry dupe, however, by innovating in other areas. For instance, its clever “Signal Light” feature offers a light-up button on the side of the phone that can be customized with different colors and light patterns to indicate when you’ve received messages from certain people, groups, or apps.

    Oh sweet summer child.

  • Ah okay, thanks!

  • What's the issue with Rollercoaster Tycoon?

  • Canada lost today.
