I do a lot of photography and I share it on my Pixelfed when I can.

It's SFW.

  • And not share the beauty of the natural world with the next generation so that they get a love of the world young?

    Unfortunately I've gotta.

  • Once dry, yeah

Fresh wet diarrhea ain't very flammable

  • Laws are only as good as their enforcement

  • I wish my torrent client showed the combined total but with the amount that are left seeding I'm sure it's hella high but not quite to petabyes yet, dozens and dozen of terabytes for sure.

  • At my local National Rec Site they only had the rapist ones left so I had to get one of them.

  • The solution I went with is slightly different

Unfortunately they changed the rules about placing stickers directly on the passes in response to backlash about his picture

EDIT: I put mine in a perfect sleeve for TCG cards and used my soldering iron to make it fit better and then placed the sticker on top.

Got my new America the Beautiful pass today

  • Oh it sucked for sure, I kept getting interrupted which meant whatever crate I was counting at the time had to be started over.

But the biggest perk was not having to deal with the other idiots on our loading dock for the entire time I was counting.

Though I've joked about it in the past I really should get a shirt that says "I'm trying to focus on my job, please don't distract me" or something like that.

Pants can't be on fire if soaked in shit

  • Yesterday I literally had to count 14 thousand pounds of fire extinguishers (as in count each extinguisher in a bunch of crates), one of my coworkers came over and said "Why don't you just use AI to count them." They then pulled out their phone, took a picture, asked AI to count them, and was off buy almost 60% on the first crate. Then went "oh, well that's just one example,"

They then tried 4 more times, being between 75% and 50% off each time. They then went "Oh, well, ummm, nevermind." and wandered off again.

(I had to count the extinguishers to make a Bill of Lading for them for shipping them out, you need an accurate count otherwise it will be held by the shipping company until you provide a correct BoL with the correct count due to legal reasons. I couldn't just weigh them and divide the total wieght by the weight of a single extinguisher as they were a bunch of different sizes mixed together. NGL it was the easiest money I've ever made at the at job.)

  • No whiskey, that shit's expensive (plus I don't drink)

It's why that bit is dubbed out and the subs say "rice" (though I could have had the audio muted for a couple more frames to get rid of the the "ee" sound)

I was tempted to dub out "bacon" and duplicate him saying "beans" to increase relatability (and to be more accurate lol) but decided against it out of laziness lol

    My diet be like

  • I've seen some insane restrictions on what you can and can't do in apartments.

Like in my apartment I'm only allowed to put an AC in 1 window of my apartment (the furthest from the bedrooms BTW), it can't be anything other than a portable AC, and any gap around the hose needs to be clear (glass, polycarbonate, acrylic, etc.) yes even the window insert that comes with the AC has to be clear. When I moved in I thought the insert around the hose that came with it not being clear would be fine, it in fact was not. It also has power draw restrictions so I can only basically get the smallest kinds on the market.

I'm also required to have all windows and doors closed and locked when nobody is at home. Yes that means I have to pull my AC hose out of my window when I'm not home. I figured that out again the first year I lived in my apartment. (they rang my bell when I wasn't home, then sent me a certified letter informing me I had 72 hours to fix the problem or they would serve me notice to vacate.)

Yes every summer it easily clears 90F (32C) inside and sometimes even breaks 100F (37C). And due to being an upstairs apartment that means the heat stays almost in it's entirety overnight.

    Taco Bell

  • It would literally be illegal for me due to the only road being an interstate bridge during part of my commute, not to mention riding at night on winding roads with no shoulder (blind corners abound) with speed limits of 50+ mph due to my work hours. And of course some roads that have a bike lane (rare in my neck of the woods but improving), it's illegal in my state to ride any vehicle with a motor (yes even electric motors) in the bike lane. So I'd have to ride in traffic on a bike on aforementioned roads.

I'm not saying other people shouldn't try to ride bikes or ebikes to work, I'm just saying for me that it's not possible.

  • Depends greatly on the state (and in some cases city too) you live in but many have speed limits on them of 25mph (among many other restrictions based on motor wattage breaking them into classes). Any faster, pedals or not, it's considered an electric motorcycle with all the restrictions that apply there.

But the biggest issue is the lack of cycling infrastructure in general. A shitton of the US has little support for that kind of transport, or any support for those not in cars.

And there's legal restrictions on what kinds of roads you can ride on as well.

    It's a headache.

  • Oh I wish I could but my local infrastructure ain't human centered, it's car centered.

I may only be 13 miles from where I work but with roads near me being 50+mph with no shoulder or streetlights

  • It's supposed to remind people of the stupidity of the "paradox of tolerance"

My goal is to hopefully to spread the idea far and wide that "tolerance is a peace treaty" that hopefully more people will think of it when they encounter the kind of people who scream things like "so much for the tolerant left" and the like.

Having the tools to fight nazis (rhetorical or otherwise) being spread far and wide will help us to defeat them again.

  • "Venusian speed run here we go!" -fossil fuel execs probably

  • Tolerance is a peace treaty and the nazis are violating the peace therefore your post is BASED AF
