    I'm just looking for a do-it-all bike, one that I can take on a train, ride in cities, roads and on gravel roads. 50% commuting, 50% leisure. My old bike was 2x10, I thought it was good enough but a bit hard going uphills

    I feel like 450€ for this would be pretty good, I could afford to put on some nice tyres and invest in a proper saddle and somehow bags as well.

  • Oh, okay, nice to hear that it has been good for you. The PSU is seriously quite important, if you want to keep the pc for a long time. With these component prices I would recommend looking into it as it's probably the cheapest form of insurance

  • I think not only the distance but the method of commuting. I don't work every day, but when I do get a pretty nice 30min train ride with 20min of cycling, each way. Gives me time to do little excercising and book reading. Using a car would be slightly faster, but I can't really do anything apart from listening to something so its not that appealing anyway, maybe in the winter when it's -20°c and a snow storm but most of the year My commute is just fine

  • Agreed, annoying how much people are moving the goalpost for this thing. It's an actually usable alternative to android and ios, with hardware features literally voted by the community. It's not perfect, but it's actually viable, with features people actually wanted.

  • Eh, I just have the mouse cable/charger on my desk connected to the 2.4ghz receiver, super quick to just plug it in while in a game, no need to go find unused batteries.

    Though i must admit, mice using AA-batteries can last like a year, right? Which is pretty cool though.
