Family

My aunt and cousins are here, this week and the next.

I'm happy! I like them. I do feel like my space has been encroached upon, my free time partially consumed, but that's OK. It's a sacrifice I make so that we can continue to have a relationship that I do truly value. More and more, I feel that's a tradeoff I make; I sacrifice my own comfort and well-being so that I may maintain relationships I value.

If I was more social, maybe this wouldn't be a sacrifice at all; maybe it would just be a regular and pleasant part of the relationship. Unfortunately, I am the way I am, so that's the way I look at it.
