Why the hell is it I can only buy containers of pasta sauce in massive quantities?

I don't need 24oz of pasta sauce. Or 48. Or by the gallon. I need 8 ounces. And no I don't want to have this jar of pasta sauce hanging around my fridge till it goes bad and not dominant to have pasta 3 time in a row.
