Make Me Down A Pallet On The Floor - Gillian Welch

I'm a really big Gillian Welch fan. She gets a lot of space on my music lists. She's a great singer, I absolutely love her voice. She's a great musician, plays multiple instruments. She was on the O Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack with Emmy Lou Harris and Alison Krause.

This song itself is a blues standard. Jelly Roll Morton has a version, Mississippi John Hurt has a version, this song has been around since the turn of the 1900s in one shape or another. A lot of people have played this song. I really like Gillian Welch's version of it.
